What lighting and power services do you offer?

I provide a full range of residential lighting and power services including new power points, lighting upgrades, downlights, outdoor lighting, ceiling fans, and general electrical repairs.

Can you add or relocate power points and light fittings?

Yes. Power points, switches, and light fittings can usually be added or relocated to better suit how you use your home, provided the existing wiring allows for it or is upgraded where required.

Do lighting and power upgrades require compliance certificates?

Yes. Where required, all lighting and power work is completed to current Australian Standards and issued with an Electrical Certificate of Compliance (ECOC).

Is it safe to upgrade lighting or power in an older home?

Yes, as long as the work is carried out by a licensed electrician. In older homes, existing wiring and circuits are assessed first to ensure any upgrades are completed safely and in line with current standards.

Will there be disruption to power during the work?

Some lighting and power work requires temporary power isolation for safety. I’ll always let you know in advance and aim to keep any disruption to a minimum.
